Unveiling "Intentions": A Look Back at My 2021 Collection
Hi everyone! I'm Jennifer Cueva, and I'm so excited to share a glimpse into my 2021 collection, "Intentions."
For those of you who love art that speaks to the soul, like the works of Monet, Turner, and Van Gogh, then you might find a kindred spirit in my approach. While I'm certainly drawn to the sheer beauty of the natural world, I also believe its power lies in the stories it can tell.
"Intentions" is a celebration of mindfulness and its profound impact on our lives. Each piece is a visual narrative, meticulously crafted to draw you in. Every element, from the distant ship to the color palette itself, is chosen with intention. Just like a storyteller, I use these elements to guide your emotional journey, set the mood, or foreshadow events.
This intentionality extends beyond the brushstrokes. When I paint a flower, it's not just about capturing its aesthetic. I ask myself: what role does this flower play within the larger story? Nature itself, in my eyes, is a tapestry woven with purpose, a philosophy that resonates deeply in my work.
Take "I am Home Again" for example. This piece reflects a collective experience – the challenges we faced during the pandemic, the overwhelming emotions, the search for calm amidst the chaos. The artwork serves as a visual sanctuary, a tranquil river scene bathed in afternoon light. The water lilies floating serenely remind us of our shared humanity and the solace we find in nature.
Through "Intentions," I invite you to slow down, appreciate the beauty around you, and consider the intentions behind your own actions. My hope, as I've said, is to successfully deliver a story through visuals and symbolism, ultimately drawing you back to the theme of being intentional.
If you're looking for art that goes beyond the surface, art that sparks conversation and reflection, then "Intentions" is a collection I'd love for you to explore. It's a testament to the power of mindfulness, the beauty of nature, and the profound connection we share with the world around us.
Thank you for joining me on this journey through "Intentions!"
